MEET DONALD MOODY
Personal: Don and his wife ,Joanne, are twenty-five (25) year residents of Belvedere SC. They have been married a little over 25 years and have two children (Aleeka and Bradley). Both children attended Belvedere Elementary, Paul Knox Middle, and graduated from North Augusta High School. Aleeka recently graduated from Winthrop University and Bradley attends the University of South Carolina at Aiken.

Don served as Assistant Tennis Coach to the South Aiken Thoroughbred Boys High School Tennis Team, which won back-to-back South Carolina State 4-A Championships in 1999 and 2000. The South Carolina House of Representatives officially recognized Don for his efforts as assistant coach.
Don has worked with our youth for a number of years. Don previously served as Chapter Coordinator for the National Junior Tennis League and Director of Grassroots and entry-level programs for Mentoring Academics Computers & Healthy Recreation (MACH) Academy in Augusta Ga / Aiken, SC.
Recreation: Don is a licensed and authorized provider of Cardio Tennis and TRX Cardio Tennis. He is also a certified tennis professional by The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and the United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR). Don also enjoys walking the Greeneway.
Recently Don used his tennis skills to support the Aiken Safe Communities Program. This program provided free tennis lessons to children ages 5-18 with a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship and overall fitness.
Don serves as Vice- Chairman of the Deacons Ministry at the Runs Missionary Baptist Church (RMBC) and is responsible for the Media and Technology Ministry. He is also charged with supporting the RMBC Missionary Circle. Don serves as Co-Chair of the policy committee. He has also successfully managed a number of small projects.
Don has held various positions of increasing levels of responsibility during his 30-year career as a contractor employee at the Savannah River Site (SRS). Don has worked on various project teams, provided operations support and served as a cost account manager.
Don has a passion for education and believes education is the cornerstone of society. After returning to school in 2003, he earned the following degrees and certificates:
